Primary Care

We strive to find and successfully treat medical conditions before they become serious enough to require hospitalization or emergency treatment. We also provide follow-up, continuity of care, pharmacy assistance, and supportive services to help patients in need.

We provide many diagnostic procedures at our clinics to help assess the state of your health.

Bone Density (DEXA) Test

A Bone density test is mostly used to screen for and detect the early stages of osteoporosis, a condition defined by a decreased density of normal bone. The test measures the absorption of x-rays in specific areas of the skeleton. Most often, the bone density test measures the hips and the spine. The DEXA scan involves a much smaller radiation exposure than a standard chest x-ray.

X-Rays

An x-ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Simple Fracture Care

Our primary care physicians provide expert fracture care.

Fractures can be quite painful and debilitating, but with the proper treatment, you can fully regain your normal function and get back to your life.

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment

Osteopathic manipulative treatment, or OMT, is hands-on care. It involves using the hands to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, our osteopathic physician (D.O.) moves your muscles and joints using techniques including stretching, gentle pressure and resistance.

OMT can help people of all ages and backgrounds. It can:

  • ease pain
  • promote healing
  • increase mobility

OMT is often used to treat muscle pain. But it can also help patients with a number of other health problems such as:

Pulmonary Function Test

Pulmonary function tests are a group of procedures that measure the function of the lungs, revealing problems in the way a patient breathes. The tests can determine the cause of shortness of breath and may help confirm lung diseases, such as asthma or bronchitis.
The tests also are performed before any major lung surgery to make sure the person won't be disabled by having a reduced lung capacity.

Women's Health

Routine gynecological exams are a key part of a women's total health care.

Our primary care doctors do routine exams like your height, weight and blood pressure and a review of your medical history and current concerns. Your physical exam includes listening to heart and lungs, breast exam, abdominal check, internal and manual pelvic exam and a Pap smear.

Sports Physical

The Sports Physical exam helps determine whether it's safe for you to participate in a particular sport. Most states actually require that kids and teens have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season.

Electrocardiogram(EKG or ECG)

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that records the electrical activity of the heart.
ECG is used to measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats as well as the size and position of the chambers, the presence of any damage to the heart, and the effects of drugs or devices used to regulate the heart (such as a pacemaker).

Alternative Names:
Electrocardiogram; EKG

How the test is performed:

Allergy Testing

Skin testing for allergies is used to identify the substances that are causing your allergy symptoms.

Health Physical

We offer health physical to our patients in the comfort of our clinics.
Comprehensive physical examinations provide opportunities for our doctors to obtain baseline information about individuals that may be useful in the future. They also allow doctors to establish relationships before problems occur.

Skin Lesion Surgery

Lesions on the skin are lumps or bumps such as moles, cysts, warts or skin tags. Most skin lesions don't cause serious problems, only a few can be cancerous.
